Our Background

Avantia Luxe was founded by Mary Senesac, a 15 year veteran of the meetings and events industry. Her passion for delivering exceptional service and personal attention to a limited number of clients let her to start Avantia Luxe in 2016.

Mary started her career in the pharmaceutical industry where she planned meetings across the globe for audiences of 500+ with attendees including executives and internationally esteemed researchers and physicians. She moved on to a prestigious management consulting firm where she worked directly with the C-suite to handle all VIP events and practice-wide meetings, managing budgets from $200K - $2M.  Most recently, she was with an award-winning meeting planning agency, where she managed a team of planners and supported the largest account of the agency, a top pharmaceutical/life sciences company.

Mary has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  She lives in Chicago with her husband, daughter, and poorly behaved dog.
