Patagonia

8 nights · Buenos Aires, El Calafate & Torres del Paine · Argentina & Chile

Begin with the elegance of Buenos Aires, then fly south to a land of ice fields, granite spires and endless steppe. By day you'll walk on glaciers and hike beneath the Paine Massif; by night, it's fireside dinners and Chilean vintages in some of the world's most remote luxury lodges.

Day 1-2 - Buenos Aires · Your host meets you on arrival and escorts you to a 5-star hotel. Explore Recoleta and the cobblestones of San Telmo with a private guide, then enjoy a privately guided tour of the Teatro Colón opera house. Evenings bring steak and Malbec at a classic parrilla and the city's finest tango.

Day 3-5 - El Calafate · Eolo Lodge sits alone in the Anita Valley, ringed by snowcapped peaks. Cross the bay to trek across Perito Moreno Glacier among crevasses and turquoise pools, then lunch facing the ice wall. Another day, cruise between icebergs to Upsala Glacier and the century-old Estancia Cristina.

Day 6-8 - Torres del Paine · A private drive carries you across the border into Chile and the national park. Your lodge (Tierra Patagonia, Awasi or Explora, matched to your style) becomes base camp for private hikes, horseback rides and wildlife: condors and guanacos among them. Return each evening to the spa, an outdoor hot tub facing the towers, and a gourmet table. On your last morning, a private transfer and airport assistance see you onward.
